First crowdfunded bar

Carole & Charlie, a young couple determined to revolutionize the world of bars, want to appeal to the generosity of Internet users to raise the amount necessary to carry out their project: to create the first crowdfunded bar.

Project launch

The two lovebirds decide to use the Indiegogo site, described as an international crowdfunding platform, in order to realize their dream.

Mission accomplished

After several months on this platform, the two accomplices have, for their part, managed to obtain a little more than 15,000 euros, thus giving birth to their little baby: Le Carlie, the fruit of Carole and Charlie.

Opening of Carlie

The first crowdfunded bar was born on September 14, 2013 in Paris. Nestled at No. 177 rue Saint Martin, in the 3rd arrondissement of the capital.

Change of ownership

The current team, made up of Toni and his team, bought the Carlie at the end of 2017 from Carole and Charlie.

The revival of Carlie

After several improvement works, the implementation of a new decoration and the creation of new cocktails, the increasing attendance of Carlie is proof that this quality strategy satisfies all of its customers.

In the fall of 2019, with the hiring of a cook to offer a real offer of quality boards, the Carlie really moved up a gear, in order to always satisfy its customers.
